Janine Lynn DiDonato, 60 of Englewood, Florida passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Tidewell Englewood Hospice House. She was born on December 11, 1954 in Royal Oak, MI to Donald E. and Frieda M. (Glaysher) Schaffner. Janine moved to Florida 40 years ago from Warren, MI. She was the owner/operator of Englewood Coney Island Restaurant for many years. Survivors include her son Matthew DiDonato of Englewood, FL; one sister: Nancy Eickstedt, three brothers: Gary Schaffner, Michael Schaffner and David Tennant. Her best friend Sandy Davis. She is also survived by many other family members and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
