Janis M. Grubb Graveside services for long time Arvada resident Janis M. Grubb will be held for immediate family members at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, June 2. Mrs. Grubb, 86, died early Sunday morning, May 24, at St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado. She was born on February 1, 1934 in Borger, Texas. She was married 54 years to Wallace D. Grubb who preceded her in death on March 11, 2007. Having been a long time resident of Arvada for almost 49 years, she arrived with her family in June of 1971. She enjoyed her many pets, watching sports and attending church services when able to do so. Survivors include one daughter, Karen Hogue of Arvada, Colorado, and two sons, Ed Grubb of Littleton, Colorado and David Grubb of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; four grandchildren, Adam Grubb, and Jennifer Maul, and Ryan and Shaylen Hogue. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
