Jared Drankus, 22, of New Berlin passed away September 14th, 2020. He was born February 3rd, 1998 in Waukesha, WI. The son of Ted and Jodi (Foht) Drankus of Waukesha, brother of Tyler (Emily) Drankus of Oshkosh and sister Jordan Drankus of Waukesha. He graduated from Waukesha West High School in 2016 and was currently working for Next Electric as an Electrician Apprentice. Jared was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved the great outdoors and was a jack of all trades. He was a free spirit who lived life to the fullest in so many ways. He had so many people he loved and so many that loved him back. He was a one of a kind guy who was always up for an adventure. He was like a brother to so many wonderful family and friends. Someone so many people looked up to and put a smile on so many faces. “You and I have become more than best friends we have become brothers”, “When I needed someone you were always there”, “You're wise beyond your years”, “Thanks for being the light of the room”, “You always put others first”, “You were the kindest person I have ever met”, “You were my partner in crime”, “He was so protective over us girls (his cousins)", “He has helped me meet amazing people”, “I love how you always stood up for yourself”, “You always made me feel loved”, “We will cherish every moment we had with you Jared”, “Not one day he won’t be watching over his boys” and “What wasn’t to love about him? I loved his spunk, his love of life and love for all”. These were just a handful of quotes from loved ones. Jared touched so many wonderful people, he will be missed by so many. Hug your loved ones tight our friends, you never know... Jared is survived by his parents Ted and Jodi of Waukesha, brother Tyler (Emily) Drankus of Oshkosh, sister Jordan Drankus of Waukesha. His loving puppy Zoe - his Best Friend. He also leaves his Maternal Grandparents Gary and Jane Foht of Cuba City, his Paternal Grandparents James and Carol Drankus of West Allis. He is also survived by 11 Aunts and Uncles, 18 Cousins, and 6 second cousins along with many dear close friends. He is preceded in death by his Aunt Teri (Foht) Martin who is welcoming him with open arms. We love you and will cherish you forever Jared. God must have needed a great hunter and fisherman! You will always be “Our Guardian Angel” Services will be held on Saturday September 26, 2020 at Cesarz Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N Moreland Blvd Waukesha, WI 53188. The visitation will be held from 2:00pm until the start of services at 7:00pm. Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home & Cremation and Pre-Planning Services are serving the family.
