Jared Todd LeFevre

Jared Todd LeFevre left this earth on August 5, 2018 at his home in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Jared was born on April 16, 1984 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin to Michael and Susan (Reed) LeFevre. He grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado with three of his brothers. He loved to rollerblade and could often be found in the penalty box at any one of his hockey games. Jared attended Palmer High School and later WYO Tech in Laramie, Wyoming. He owned and successfully ran a business in elder care in Colorado Springs for several years. Jared enjoyed rollerblading and playing ice hockey. He had many hobbies including racing RC cars, building Lego sets, and go-karts. Cars and motorcycles were a passion of his along with zombie and paranormal movies and shows. Jared was a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Colorado Avalanche. He enjoyed the company of his family, friends and dog Sampson. Jared wore his heart on his sleeve and always rooted for the underdog. He struggled in the last few years and finally gave in to something that was bigger than he was. Jared is survived by his dog Sampson, mother Susan Reed-Throckmorton, step-father Michael Throckmorton, step-mother Susan LeFevre, brothers: Jason Gosnell, Eric Gosnell, Matthew Gabriel, and Eli LeFevre along with several aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Michael LeFevre, maternal grandparents Lloyd and Helen Reed and, paternal grandparents Dale and Carol LeFevre. Jared left this world as we know it too soon and leaves behind a lot of broken hearts. He will be dearly missed by so many especially his dog Sammy, mom, and niece Kylie who had a special bond with him. His memories and spirit will keep us all strong.
