Jared Eugene Mason

Jared was born and raised in Naples, Florida. He spent his late teens and early 20's in Tarpon Springs, Florida, and relocated to the Englewood, North Port area in 2001. Jared was fun-loving and easy going. He loved anything that had to do with being outdoors, but especially boating and fishing. He was loved by everyone he met, from children to seniors, and didn't know a stranger. Even the fish loved him. They would bite his hook before anyone else's! He fought for the underdog; and had impeccable, old Southern manners. Jared succumbed to cancer after a long, courageous fight. He is survived by his fiancée, Beth Strong, his parents, Larry & Marsha Mason of Englewood, formally of Naples, Florida, his brother, Brian Mason, of North Port, his maternal grandmother, Mary Prince Evans Lipstate, of Naples, Florida, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Celebration of Life Gathering and Memorial service will be held at 820 E 6th Street, Englewood, Florida, 34223, on Saturday, Nov 14, 2015, from 2-5pm. All are welcome and invited.
