Jason Conklin
May 17th, 1979 - May 28th, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected death of Jason Michael Conklin on May 28, 2024, in Tacoma Washington, following a sudden illness. Jason was born in Wenatchee, Washington on May 17, 1979. Jason and his family moved to Tacoma, Washington in April 1988. Jason attended school in the Bethel School District.
Jason was outgoing and had many friends growing up. He and his friends could often be found playing video games in the family room or having water gun fights outdoors.
As an adult Jason continued his love of playing video games, being on Discord, and being outdoors with his friends and loved ones.
Jason always offered a helping hand and was there when you needed him. He loved and was very protective of his family.
Jason worked in the milling industry and was most recently the operations manager for a local supply chain company.
Jason spent many years with his partner, Gaylene Kenward and they were married in December 2011. Jason and Gaylene had one son, Michael.
Jason is survived by his wife Gaylene Kenward, his son Michael D. Conklin, his parents Michael and Angela Conklin, his brother Tyler Conklin, his aunt and uncle Joe and Jane Hinkle, his grandsons Kyros and Kaleb Conklin, his stepchildren Amanda, Ashley, Samantha, and Scott Kenward, 12 step-grandchildren and an abundance of cousins and friends. Jason was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Albert and Antonia Hinkle, his paternal grandparents Harlan and Arleen Conklin, and stepson Steven Kenward. He will be missed more than words can say.
