Jason Dave Emerick

We are saddened to note the passing of Jason D. Emerick, age 58, of Dundee. Jason was a man of great knowledge- an earnest student. In 1974 he proudly graduated Summa Cum Laude from Lewis and Clark College. Jason was an avid traveler: having toured much of the world, stage-by-stage with some of the legends of Jazz, Blues, and Rock and Roll. Knowing so much, it was certainly with careful thought that Jason chose to settle in the eastern hills of Dundee. Jason was a man of great joy and simple pleasures: he was an accomplished cook, a lover of wine, a movie-buff, and a fanatic for Formula One racing. Those that knew Jason’s pets also knew that they were happy and adored animals, indeed. Those were genuine loves of his, but Jason also loved a challenge, and we don’t know of anyone who would dig deeper into the guts of a computer to help a friend or one of his many computer IT clients. Jason passed away of multiple myeloma early on the morning of October 27th, at home, and in the presence of friends and loved ones. A small private Celebration of Remembrance will be planned.
