On April 10, 2021, Jayce Lee-Garrett Morgan of Payette, Idaho, went home to be with the Lord. Jayce was born on June 28, 2015, to Cory Morgan and Morgan Garrett, in Boise, Idaho. Since infancy, he attended daycare and pre-school at Roni's House Childcare, and was in the final stretch of kindergarten at Notus Elementary. Jayce radiated light, love and incredible strength. He loved his mommy and daddy beyond measure. Our little cowboy loved big and captured the hearts of all who knew him...a testament to his loving and amiable upbringing. Jayce loved "his" horses, cattle, ranching, sports, spending quality time with family & friends, and anything that got him outdoors to feel the wind in his face. He was obsessed with the movie, "8 Seconds", and dreamed of becoming a professional bull rider like Lane Frost...and many others within the local rodeo community. Jayce began riding sheep and anything else that would help achieve his dream. He idolized Grandpa Buck, Dalton and Austin, and shadowed their every cowboy/rancher move. Jayce adored his "Dammas", Auntie Meghan and the entire Morgan family/tribe. He handcrafted gifts and picked flowers & dandelions for the special ladies in his life. Jayce's memory will forever be loved and cherished by his parents, Morgan Garrett and Cory Morgan & Sammy Schuler; a sister, Paisley; Aunties, Meghan, Dylan and Chloe; Uncles, Austin, Hunter & Alex (Sabrina); Grandparents, Buck & Rachel, Mike & Jodi, Ken & Chrisandra; numerous Great-grandparents, Gruncles, Graunties, cousins, bonus families; and last but certainly not least, more friends and admirers than anyone could ever imagine. He joins eternity with his Great-grandpa, Oren White; Great-Damma, Georgia Garrett; Uncle Bodee; and Gruncle, Jason. The family extends their utmost appreciation to Payette County Police, Payette County Fire, Payette County Ambulance, Payette County Coroner, Air Ambulance, and Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel (Payette) for their care, compassion and professionalism. Thank you to our family, friends and entire community for your unconditional love and outpouring of support during this extremely difficult time. Jayce will be honored in a potluck-style Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at 1:00 p.m., at the Caldwell Elks Lodge, 1015 N Kimball Ave, Caldwell, ID 83605.
