Jean P. Desrosiers, 96 of St. Petersburg, FL passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 19, 2024. She was born the oldest of three daughters to the late William S. Jean was happy in Florida until the end of her life.

Nicole Criscione Neri

Jean was a lovely lady who was kind and thoughtful. My memories of Jean and her late husband Regis go back to when I was about 5 years old. My father and Uncle had a boat named the good life which they kept at the marina they owned Purcells in Bridgeport Ct.. I loved fishing on the docks with them so we could feed all the cats that lived at the marina. I enjoyed hanging around the bait store with Jean because she made me feel welcome and I just enjoyed following her around as a kid. As I remember my first paying job as a kid was painting docks with them and helping in the bait store. My father remained close to both Jean and Regis over the years. I know they both will be missed but at least they are together now in heaven. I loved hearing stories and seeing pictures of them traveling with my parents Ken and Barbara. Oh and that bird (whitey) who would visit them daily at the sliding door. Even the wild animals loved going to see Jean and Regis. We should all be as full of life as Jean was through her 96 years. She will be missed by many but never forgotten. My condolences to her children. Sincerely, Nicole Criscione-Neri

Jean was a very kind woman who was very special. I didn’t get to see her often but when I did it was always a pleasure. She also made me feel loved. I’m hoping both Renee and Yvonne are dealing with this news with friends and good memories to ease the loss. Sending my prayers and love to both.
