Jean T. Joynes

JOYNES, Jean T., 89, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away on January 4, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Templeton, Massachusetts on April 19, 1926 and then moved to Florida in 1955. She worked at GE Neutron Devices Facility from 1957 until her retirement in 1989. She leaves behind her brother, Robert Rivers; sister, Rena Tippett; six children, Joe (Betty), Frank (Celie), Terry (Claude), Stefanie (Ed), Peter (Melody) and Bob (Denise); 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She loved the beach, bowling, traveling and many craft activities. She was a supporter of many charities, particularly Christian Missions and American Indians. She loved Christmas and spent all year preparing for the next Christmas. A celebration of life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 9th at Loyless Funeral Home, Land O'Lakes, Florida. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
