Jean Ada Murray Kinsella

Jean Ada Murray Kinsella, 95, of Sun City, AZ, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 16, 2023. She passed in her sleep at home. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on Sunday, August 28, 1927, to John S. Murray and Marion Helen Fox. Jean was an only child. She was raised by her grandmother, Ada Eccles Fox, after her mom was killed in an accident. She grew up in Brooklyn, NY. She married George Kinsella on June 12, 1949, in Brooklyn, NY. She completed some college with business classes and worked as an executive secretary and bookstore manager. She lived in Brooklyn and moved to Staten Island, NY with George and raised their family there until they moved to Colorado Springs, CO. Colorado was home for 45 years. After George died in 1994, Jean eventually moved in with her daughter Jill and lived with her for the rest of her life. They relocated to Sun City, AZ, in October 2019. She loved to travel and lived in Aberdeen, Scotland for a year with her husband in 1990. Enjoyed many family trips to Glenwood Springs, CO. She loved cruising and road trips with family. She was an avid reader and loved books of all kinds especially biographies. She easily read up to 10 books a week in the last year and still reading her Bible. She was an active member the Evangelical Free Church and was a member of Bethel Evangelical Free Church in Staten Island, NY, Austin Blu
