Beloved Mother, Grandma and Friend ~ of North St. Paul Jean went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 19, 2011. She will be sadly missed by her children Susan Peterson (Gene), Jill Anderson (Gregg), Jane McKown (Dan) and Thomas Lewis (Rhonda). Jean was adored by her seven grandchildren Melissa Hilmanowske (Brent), Alexandra Walmer (Travis), Stephanie Zimmerman (Eric), Chad Anderson (Kara), Andrew McKown (Missi), Meredith McKown Krueger, and Ashley Damjanovich (Aaron) and 11 great grandchildren. Jean was passionate about her faith and her family. She prayed for everyone she knew. A life-learner, she was a talented artist, loved music and gardening, and excelled at sports, especially golf. Her faith in Christ and love of life were contagious as she shared her joyful spirit with everyone she met. Funeral Service Friday (9/30) at 10:00 AM at TRINITY BAPTIST CHURCH, 2220 Edgerton St., Maplewood. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Thursday from 4-8:00 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Avenue, North St. Paul and 1/2 hour before the service Friday at church. Memorials preferred. "Come to Jesus and Live"
