Jean McIntosh Warren
October 4th, 1940 - November 12th, 2013
Jean McIntosh Warren, 73, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, November 12, 2013. The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 15, 2013 at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home with Reverend Barry Nealy officiating. The interment will follow at Westminster Gardens. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Ardie and Hurshell McIntosh and daughter, Renee Warren Ciriello. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Warren; daughter, Leslie Pinnix and Jeff; sister, Mary Ann McIntosh; granddaughters, Logan Pinnix, Lauren Mazur and Benji; great-grandson, Landon all of Greensboro. Jean was married to Wayne for 53 years. They were truly soul-mates. She was a member of and secretary for Stevens Memorial Baptist Church for many years and retired from Piedmont Baptist Association. She loved sewing, cooking and attending church while in good health. But most of all, Jean loved her family and encouraged them all to love one another. Jean touched many lives with her loving and caring ways. Even through all of her health problems she always lifted others up. She stayed courageous, strong and positive and held her faith in God. Her smile and humor were contagious. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, mother-in-law and friend. She was the heart of our family and an inspiration to all. We love you Jean, momma, and gammy. The family will receive friends on Thursday at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
