Jeanette Morrison was born July 28th, 1924 and raised in rural Navarino WI. She entered in to rest January 11th, 2019, in Chico, at the age of 94. During WWII she moved to Chicago IL to become an RN through the Lutheran General Hospital nursing program. After completion of training, she moved to Los Angles to join her older sister where she met her future husband. Ed Morrison. She met him in the hospital as he recovered from minor surgery. He asked if he could call when he was discharged. They married in 1950. They moved to Chico in 1957 where they started an independent tool, machinery, and metal rep. business together. They were married 62 years and Ed proceeded her in Death in 2013. Jeanette was active for many years as a volunteer at Enloe Hospital and was a proud founding member of the Sons of Norway. As Jeanette got older her memory faded but she never forgot to laugh or to show kindness. She also forgot that she was afraid of flying which enabled her to travel to Hawaii frequently that gave her great joy. She is proceeded in death by her husband. She is survived by her daughter Lynn Wilson (John) and faithful dog Heidi. She was surrounded by family and friends that helped create a community that allowed her to remain in her home till she passed into the loving hands of Jesus.
