Obituary Jeanne Knight Faulkner Jeanne Faulkner went home to the welcoming arms of Jesus on March 3, 2014 after a series of life threatening health problems over the last 1 years. She was born in Bridgeport, Ct. on October 26, 1946 to Jim & Mary Sibley who predeceased her. Jeanne graduated from SMU in Dallas, TX in 1968 and moved to Denver, CO with sorority sisters. In 1972 she married Stephen Faulkner. They celebrated over 41 years together. Jeanne was a preschool teacher for many years at First United Methodist Church; she also was a substitute teacher in Districts 11 and 14. She was active in First United Methodist Church for over 25 years, singing in the choir, teaching Sunday school, and as a youth choir coordinator. She played the piano in various childrens choirs. For the last 12 years she and Stephen have been members of Woodmen Valley chapel, where she also sang in the praise choir and was active in various bible studies. She was a current long-standing member of PEO, Chapter K in Manitou Springs. Jeanne is survived by her husband Stephen and her 3 sons; Tom and Carmina of Las Vegas, NV, Jon of New York City, and Chris and Claire of Plymouth, NH. He is also survived by 3 sisters and 2 brothers. A Memorial Service will be held at Woodmen Valley Chapel on March 14, @ 3:00 PM. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America.
