Jeanne Lynn Goss (Smith), 68, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on July 10, 2024. She was born on July 7, 1956, in Reed City, Michigan, to the late Robert H. Smith and Helene Smith. Jeanne graduated from Parkview High School in Springfield, MO in 1974 and pursued her passion for caregiving by completing her nursing education in 1977. She dedicated her career to the medical field as a Licensed Practical Nurse, retiring after 34 years of service at La Canada Care Center. 

Jeanne was known for being an incredible friend and mom to so many, survived by her extended and loving family: daughters Jennifer Cain, Kim Young, Melissa Block, Andrea Sanchez and Lindsey Goss; sons-in-law Darrin Cain, Brent Young, Raymond Sanchez, Jack Morgan, Mike Block; grandchildren Brooklynn, Madi, and Jake Young, Nora Sanchez, Bella and Caleb Block; Dave Goss, ex-husband/friend; stepmother Pat Smith; brother Jim Brown; sister-in-law Robin Brown; sister-in-law Anita Smith; and chosen sister Sharon Keown-Cooley and her husband Rich Cooley. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband John Towell, her father Robert H. Smith, her mother Helene Smith, sister Sharon Felton, and brother Bob Smith.  

A service to honor Jeanne’s life will be held on July 25, 2024, at Adair Funeral Home, 8090 North Northern Avenue, Oro Valley, AZ 85704 at 2:00 pm.  A celebration of life will be held following the service at Jeanne's home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jeanne’s memory can be made to the any local animal shelter or the Gospel Rescue Mission at https://grmtucson.com/donate/. Jeanne’s kindness, compassion, and loving presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
