Jeanne Marciniec
June 26th, 1930 - January 27th, 2024
Jeanne Marciniec (Hulett) passed away January 27, 2024. She was born on June 26, 1930, in Palmer to the late Ernest and Martha (Wespiser) Hulett. Jeanne graduated from Palmer High School in 1948 and later worked as a secretary at Massachusetts Mutual in Springfield and American Airlines in California. She was an avid animal lover and donated to many animal causes. Besides her parents, Jeanne was predeceased by her husband Emil, and her grandson Nicholas DeCoteau. She is survived by her son, Alan DeCoteau, daughter-in-law, Denise Summers, and former daughter-in-law, Sherry DeCoteau. She also leaves behind her granddaughter-in-law, Jennifer DeCoteau with great grandsons, Landon and Hudson, step-grandson Anthony DeCasse his wife Heather and their children Halley, Anthony, and Nicholas. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made in her name to NAMI: National Alliance on Mental Illness by visiting www.nami.org. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024, from 2pm-4pm at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, with the burial at a future date. You may join the family following the showing at the Steaming Tender in Palmer.
