89, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013 in Lompoc, CA. Jeannie was born in Santa Barbara to Benito and Rosa Villegas on June 16, 1923. She was a Santa Barbara native and life long resident of the area. She retired from the City of Santa Barbara in 1993. Mrs. Dean leaves her 5 children, Tony Alonzo, Alex Alonzo (Wife, Rolinda), Jenni "Chuky" Caballero, Vina Alonzo (Husband, Harry Slikker), and Joe Dean (Wife, Amy); and one sister, Mrs. Sally Espinoza. Jeannie also leaves 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grand children and 2 great-great grand children. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 15 at 1:00 at McDermott-Crockett Chapel, 2020 Chapala St, Santa Barbara, CA. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Visiting Nurse Association - Hospice (In Home Care) that services the Lompoc Valley for their support in her final days.
