Jeannie Anne Reyes

Jeannie Anne Reyes, 76, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024. The daughter of the late Derwin Richards and Helen Matthews, Jeannie was born June 11, 1948, in North Baltimore, Ohio. Though she devoted much of her life to raising her 13 children, she did what was needed to help support her family by working in cotton fields, tobacco, factories, and retail. Jeannie was known for giving the best hugs, with a smile on her face and kind words, she showed love to everyone, treating them as family.  

Jeannie is survived by her children, Ginger (Roosevelt) Bradshaw of Frankfort, Kristy (David) Pena of Frankfort, Sherry Reyes of Frankfort, Loretta (Joe) Pennington of Frankfort, Cindy (Donna) Reyes of Washington, Heather Linton of Pleasureville, Melissa Linton of Frankfort, Daniel Reyes of Frankfort, Danny (Kerya) Reyes of Frankfort, Leroy (Henrietta) Reyes of Owenton, and Jeromy Linton of Frankfort; her sisters, Linda Camerena and Teresa (John) Johnston; 30 grandchildren; and 43 great-grandchildren.  

In addition to her parents, Derwin Richards and Helen Matthews, Jeannie was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Green; son, Raymond Reyes, Jr; and grandchildren, Amanda Clark, Christopher Reyes, Dustin Keith, and Jeremiah Linton.  

A Funeral Service will be held, 1:00p, Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd, Frankfort, with Pastor Wallace Brawner, Jr officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00a until the time of service on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
