Jeff Murdock
April 12th, 1984 - July 25th, 2018
Jeff Murdock was born on April 12, 1984 in Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. He grew up in Vancouver, Washington with his three sisters, Annie, Amber and Mandy and his brother Justin. After high school, he moved to Pocatello, Idaho to live with his grandparents, David and Viola. In 2005, he met his future wife after being introduced to her by his neighbor, who was also her cousin. Jeff attended one year of college at Idaho State University before moving to Boise with his then girlfriend Allison to attend Boise State University where he was studying Social Work. Jeff and Allison married on November 2, 2016 at the Ada County Court House. Jeff was a loving and supportive husband and a kind soul. He worked in the mental health field where he helped others who struggled with mental illness and those in the refugee community. He loved helping people, even complete stangers and he had a way of talking to people as if he had known them forever. He was a loving father to his two cats, Mozzy and Dexter. He loved music, Jiu Jitsu, his gym, skateboarding, going to concerts and spending time with all of his friends and family. He especially enjoyed his travels to Mexico where his family doubled in size instantly. Jeff will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but will never be forgotten by those who loved him.
