Jeffery Lynn Necessary

Jeffery L. Necessary, age 61, of Mount Carmel, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport following a hard fight with an extended illness. He was a member of The New Testament Church of Jesus Christ in Mount Carmel. Jeffery had worked in construction with his father for most of his adult life. Most of all, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and friend to those who love him. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pastor Clarence and Bertha Necessary. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Necessary; 4 children, Andrew Bean (Melissa), Jennifer Rhymer (Tony), Eddie Necessary (Courtney) and Nicholas Necessary (girlfriend, Leigh Collins); 3 grandchildren, Elizabeth Bean, Brayden Rhymer and Abigail Rhymer; 5 siblings, Teresa Gilliam (Timmy), Judy Johnson (David), Jill Larkey (Gene), Pastor Paul Necessary, and Leah Simpson (Jeff); special friend, Darrell Dalton; several nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at The New Testament Church of Jesus Christ in Mount Carmel. The family would like to thank all who have offered prayers, visits, calls or messages in Jeffery’s behalf, it is greatly appreciated.
