Jeff Bettencourt, 56, of Santa Cruz
passed away January 24, 2024 at
his home with family. Born in El Cajon,
California. Jeff grew up in the Central
Valley attending Hughson High School
where he graduated as MVP of his
basketball team. He received a B.A from
San Diego State University.
Jeff moved to Santa Cruz in 1996 with
Jill Stalie where they married and started
a life together. He started JB Designs in 1991
and renamed his business Pleasure Point
Design in 1996, then incorporated and
named the business PPD Multimedia in 2004.
He is survived by his wife Jill Bettencourt,
daughter Jacey Lynne Bettencourt, mother
Betty Sue Bettencourt, sisters Stephanie Garza,
Michelle Bush and Tamyra Boom.
There is a celebration of life for Jeff on May 11th
from 12-5 pm located on Portola Drive at the
Beer Garden. Please join us in remembering a
loving family man and a vibrant community
member. Proceeds will benefit Hospice of
Santa Cruz.
