Jeffrey was a quiet and sweet child, and his numerous Caymo cousins, aunts, and uncles in California, Maryland, and the Philippines loved him very much, though miles of distance separated us. One of my cherished memories of him was when my daughter was three years old, and he played his guitar to accompany my daughter's singing. Jeffrey was a teenager then, but he was tender and patient with my little girl. I have memories of when Jeffrey was a little boy, and of how gentle his soul was even then. He was a special person, and we knew that even before he was born, because our grandfather came to my mother in a dream and picked his name. I know Jeffrey was the light in his father's life, and Jeffrey will never be forgotten. He left this world too soon, but we rejoice that we will see him again when we reunite with Christ. Nothing Gold Can Stay by Robert Frost Nature's first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaf's a flower; But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf. So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day. Nothing gold can stay.

I remember the day I found out Jeffrey was going to be born. I couldn't wait to meet my new cousin. As a young boy, Jeffrey lit up the room. I'll always remember how he and his dad ( my Uncle Sonny) would tell jokes together. They were a pair and I was always so thankful for the joy he gave to my uncle. I wish we could have stayed close as Jeffrey grew up... My deepest condolences to his biggest fan, his father and to all who loved him. I hope and pray that one day, we will hear him tell jokes again.

Too many of us have passed this past year and it breaks my heart that we lost another great person, your life and others like you will be celebrated for years to come. It breaks my heart that I couldn't be close enough to you in your final days for my words to affect you. Rest easy my brother and just know we are here for you and your family in this trying time.
