Jeffrey Joel Factor

Jeffrey J. Factor age 60, died after a long illness on November 30, 2014. Also known as Max for taking every life†™s adventure to the maximum, was one of those special individuals who chose to live life on his own terms and a few of us were lucky enough to go along for the ride. Jeff was born in Bronx, NY and was a graduate of the State University of New York at Brockport in 1977. He lived in Manhattan from 1977 to 1984 and then relocated to Colorado where he had a beautiful home in the Rockies and would spend hours looking out at his breathtaking view of the Continental Divide. While in Colorado he developed his own successful business, Facto Express. He had a voracious appetite for food and life. There wasn†™t a dish or an activity he wasn†™t willing to try. He was an avid outdoorsman, loving to hike, ski, and mountain climb, ride his motorcycles, skydive and fly his ultralight. A great fan of New York Sports teams, he especially enjoyed following the Yankees and Jets. Jeff was also an avid follower of science fiction, most prominently Star Trek, and was a connoisseur of microbrews. He was adventurous and loved to travel. Jeff and his life partner, Paula, enjoyed extended trips to Tahiti and the Bahamas. He was a staunch humanitarian. He is survived by his partner in life Paula Travis; parents Harry and Mildred Factor of Atlanta, GA, siblings Dr. Stewart (Ann Marie) Factor of Atlanta, GA, Elizabeth (Michael) Kane of Glenrock, NJ, Andrew Factor of Atlanta, GA, nieces and nephews Katie (Michael) O†™Neill, Rachel Factor, Jonathan, Adam and Allison Kane. He also leaves numerous loving friends.
