Jeffrey Goldberg
June 13th, 1970 - March 17th, 2015
Friends and family will gather in Hackensack, New Jersey on March 22nd, to say farewell to Jeff Goldberg, who died peacefully in his home in Santa Cruz on March 17th from a congenital heart condition. He was in the company of his close friends and his dearly treasured daughter, Jazmyn. He was 44. Jeff was founder and CTO of Method Seven, where he will be deeply missed by so many of his friends, supporters, and colleagues. Born in New York, he was raised in Sparta, New Jersey, graduating from Sparta High School. Jeff attended Fashion Institute of New York and Brooks Institute of Photography, where he earned his degree in Color Photography. As a legendary photographer, he will be remembered for his special and singular perspective on the world, capturing the quiet beauty and life in fine detail and design. Jeff earned first place honors in a National Geographic photo contest, and photographed for Life Magazine, High Times Magazine, Cannabis Now, and many others during the course of his career. Method Seven's definitive mineral glass technology was Jeff's own discovery, and represents only one of many significant contributions he has made to the optical and photographic world. As a founder, partner, and dear friend, Jeff will forever be celebrated for his dedication to his art, to quality and innovation, and to his pervasive curiosity of the natural world. He leaves his daughter, Jazmyn Goldberg, his parents; Manny and Barbara Goldberg, his brothers; Robert and David Goldberg; his sister-in-law, Marisa Pasekoff, and his two nieces, Caitlyn and Logan Goldberg, along with his loving aunts uncles and extended family. Services will be held at 11 a.m. at Gutterman Musicant Funeral Home (402 Park Street in Hackensack), followed by interment services at Cedar Park Cemetery (735 Forest Ave, in Paramus, NJ) Any kind acts of charity can be made in Jeff's memory to the American Heart Association.
