Jeffrey Alan Wainscott

Jeffery Alan "Jeff" Wainscott, age 61, passed away March 29th, 2021 at home surrounded by loving family. He was born October 14, 1959 in East Point, GA to the late Charles and Virginia Wainscott. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Tommy, Bobby, and Steven Wainscott. Jeff is survived by his wife Vicky Wainscott; son Matthew Wainscott and wife Sarah; daughters Ginny Wainscott, Ashley Brolliard and husband Armand; stepdaughters Ilana and Hanna Hirschmann; granddaughters Gracie and Hattie Marie, grandsons Lucas and Armie. He is survived by sister Sandy League and husband Tony, brothers Richard Wainscott and husband Chuck Mull, and Billy Wainscott and wife Pam; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Also surviving are loving in-laws Joel and Paulette Cohen who thought of Jeff as a son. Jeff was a man that loved his family first and foremost. His children and grandchildren were the center of his life. Jeff owned and operated Wainscott Tile and Marble for 33 years in the Charlotte area. His fairness, honesty, and dedication to excellence were well known. He was a friend to all, helped many people, and never met a stranger. His favorite pastime was making custom furniture and working with wood. A graveside service to honor his life will be held at 11:00 am April 10th 2021 at Sharon Memorial Park 5716 Monroe Road Charlotte, NC 28212.
