GORDON, Jennie Ayala, 93, of Tampa, passed away March 3, 2009. She was born January 16, 1916 in Puerto Rico and moved to New York City when she was very young. Jennie worked in the garment industry until retirement then moved to Florida. Longtime resident of the Baptist Manor and recently Excell Rehab. Jennie went home to be with her daughter, Ruth; granddaughter, Jennifer; her husbands, Augustine Roman and Leo Gordon. Survived by her son, Conrad and Karen Roman; grandson, Alexander Roman; niece, Alma and Ron Fowler and nephew, David Soler Sr; great-nephews, David Soler Jr. and Shawn Eric Soler. A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2009, 11:00 AM; officiated by Pastor Jerry Comellas at Centro Asturiano Memorial Park Cemetery at the Mausoleum.
