Jerald. L Gold, beloved father of Michelle Gold, former husband of Joanne (Greenberg) Gold, brother of Janice Kalp, nephew of Ethel & Stanley Stopper, and uncle of Erica Kalp and Ashey Whyman, cousin of Robert Uliss, and Significant Other of Patty Malpass has died at the age of 66 on November 20, 2011 in Pinellas Park, FL. Born on January 6, 1945 in Winthrop, Massachusetts, Jerald (known to close friends and family as Jerry) graduated Northeastern University in 1967 with a bachelors degree in finance and went on to become the top rated junket representative for the New England area for the Sands Hotel and Casino in both Atlantic City and Las Vegas. In later years he was an independent businessman, owning and operating Salem Loan and Jewelry before moving to Clearwater, Florida in the late 90s. He is remembered fondly by family and friends and will be greatly missed. A private cremation has been planned. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Belcher Road Chapel in Clearwater is serving the family.
