Jeri Lyn Smith Hartley

Jeri Lyn Smith Hartley, 55, wife of Barry Hartley, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023. She was born in Bowling Green, Kentucky to Sam and Gayle Smith on June 25, 1967. Jeri was a top producing agent for Rector Hayden Realtors. Jeri loved everything Woodford County, serving as Board Chairperson for the Chamber of Commerce, serving on the Planning and Zoning Committee, founder of Woodford Charm, member of the Woodford Theater Board, facilitated NA meetings at Journey Church, helped start Blameless Children, assisted with Isaiah House and the list goes on. In addition to her husband and parents, Jeri is survived by her children, Cory (Katie) Cooley, Versailles, Ben (Chelsea) Hartley, Lawrenceburg, Casey (Sara) Cooley, Versailles, Kaleb Hartley, Versailles, and Hannah (Logan) Watkins, Richmond; sister, Brooke (David) Cottingham, Versailles; brother, Jamison (Eva) Smith, Versailles; grandchildren, Avery Cooley, Jacob Cooley, Blair Hartley, Miles Cooley, Madeline Cooley, Beckett Hartley, and Baylor Watkins; and her nieces and nephews, Sam and Eliza Cottingham, Graham, Hannah, and Jaxson Smith, McKenzie and Morgan Baugh, Kayla and Luke Iannuzzi, and Mathew and Lacie Hartley. Funeral Service will be 6:30 PM Friday, May 26, 2023 at Journey Church 320 Hope Lane Versailles, KY 40383. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM Friday until the start of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Barry Hartley “The Jeri Hartley Memorial Fund” at City National Bank, Versailles, KY.
