June 22nd, 1979 - July 19th, 2008
Jeromy “Jay” Colson Jeromy “Jay” Colson, 29, a life long resident of Olympia, died Saturday, July 19, 2008. He attended Tumwater High School and on June 9, 2007 in Maui, Hawaii, he married his sweetheart, Sara N. Pittman. He worked for First Choice Excavation. Among his hobbies were hunting, fishing, 4x4ing, road trips and camping. Spending quality time with Sara, his great dane, Brodie, and his friends were important to him. Including his wife, Sara, Jay is survived by his Uncle Mike and Aunt Kathy Colson; father and mother-in-law, Jim and Sue Pittman; brother-in-law, Jamie Pittman; and numerous extended family and friends. His mother Dana L. Colson and grandmother, Paula E. Colson preceded him in death. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 27, 2008 at the Masonic Center, 455 North Street SE, Tumwater. Access is off of Cleveland Avenue. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Washington State Employees Credit Union, Account #5634408.
