Jerry "Mike" Michael Chambers
March 3rd, 2021
Chambers, Jerry “Mike” Michael August 25, 1954– March 3, 2021 On March 3, 2021 following a severe stroke, Mike died peacefully surrounded by family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerome and Jean Chambers, and will be missed by daughter, Brianna (Tom) Erickson; granddaughters, Maddie and Amelia; fiancé, Kim Morrison and her family; his siblings, Cathy (Dave), Joe (Jill), Carol, and John (Shirley), as well as his huge extended family and many friends. Mike was an honorable Christian man who loved God, classic cars, politics, bicycles, target practice, being a grandpa, diet coke, and battery-powered gloves to heat always-cold hands. Cold hands = a warm heart, and Mike’s warm heart could be counted on for selfless kindness and friendship, being quick to smile, and remembering peoples’ names. He loved music, sang in the church choir, and rocked at karaoke. An open-house celebration of Mike’s life will be held Monday, March 8, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post 39, 2678 7th Ave E, St. Paul, MN 55109. A private interment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial preferred to the North St. Paul Area Food Shelf, nspafoodshelf.org.
