JENKINS, Jerry Michael 61, of Largo, passed away on March 1, 2011 on the Hospice floor at Bay Pines V.A. Hospital. Jerry was born September 4, 1949 in Hastings, Michigan; the son of Joel and Marchie (Sexton) Jenkins. He was raised in Battle Creek, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Air Force in Germany and Iceland. He worked with his father in Jenkins and Sons Electrical Business as an apprentice and, eventually, started his own electrical business. Seruving is his wife of 21 years, Barbara; sisters Brenda (Bill) Shattuck of South Carolina and Bonnie (Tom) Billings of Michigan; his stepchildren Edmund Gambill of Florida, Tom (Kelley) Gambill of Tennessee, and Meg Gambill of Florida; and special friend Beth pieper of Florida. Jerry had 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was a long time friend of Bill W. He was peceded in death by his parents; and brothers Robert and Gary Jenkins, both of Florida. Memorials can be made to the Bay Pines VA Hospice and the ASPCA.
