Jesse Albert Spivey, Jr., 56, passed away on August 9. Jesse was born in Jacksonville, Florida in 1958 and lived in Hawaii, California and Florida throughout his life; he moved to the Rockledge/Cocoa area in 2011. He served in the Marines from 1975-1979 and worked in the construction and tile business for most of his career. He loved being with family and friends, fishing and traveling. Jesse is survived by his mother, Lillian Strozier, sons Joshua Spivey(Mandy Hundsdorf) , Adam Spivey, and step-son David Morephew, grandchildren Joshua Spivey, Jr. and Lilyana Spivey, brother Michael Spivey, sister Pam Strozier(Carolyn Addison), aunt Juanita Canupp, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father Jesse Spivey, Sr. and step father, Sherman Strozier. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospice of St. Francis, 1250-B Grumman Place, Titusville, FL, 32780 Memorial Service will be held at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home, Viera, Fl Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 2:00PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the service. A short graveside service will be held on August 24th at 2:00 in Nashville, GA at Long Bridge cemetery facilitated by Lovein Funeral Home, 1218 Adel Road, Nashville, GA 31639 phone 229-686-2007.
