Jesse F. Youngs

Deputy Chief Jesse F. Youngs On the morning of October 22, 2010 Heaven received a new Angel. Jesse was born on July 21, 1957 to Art and Ione Youngs. He was born and raised in Puyallup, where he graduated from PHS in 1975. Shortly thereafter he enrolled in Bates Voc. Fire Training. Following in his father's footsteps, he became a firefighter and joined Seattle Fire in May of 1978. Jesse spent his entire career with Seattle, where he achieved the title of Deputy Chief. Jesse enjoyed spending time with his friends and family hunting, fishing, but mostly golfing. Jesse was preceded in death by Art and Ione Youngs, and uncles Stanley and Allen Stackhouse. He is survived by his wife Marie Youngs, daughters Maegen Youngs and Heather Stafford (Jeff), grandsons Kaden, Kaige and Grady, brother Bill Youngs, sister Linda Youngs, nephews Ryan Youngs (Emily) and Chris Youngs (Kristen), 3 great-nieces, and 1 great-nephew. The family would like to thank everyone who took part in Jesse's care, especially Franciscan Hospice and Dr. Rose at Rainier Physicians. A memorial will be held at the Puyallup Eagles on Thursday, Oct. 28th, 2010 at 1pm. Seattle Fire will honor his memory at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the Dave H. Jesse was adored and highly respected by all and will be greatly missed and never forgotten. We love you, Jesse.
