Jessica Amanda Herring

Jessie, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend passed away Wednesday January 27, 2021. When we opened our eyes, our world was changed forever without you in it. No longer do we have your mischievous grin that pulled others in, your warmth of spirit, joy or the hugs that you were so free with. A world without you in it is a little colder for us left behind. From babyhood to the woman you became, you were such a blessing in our lives. You will be forever in our hearts. No stranger to pain, you always tried to face bad times with humor while trying to make others laugh and see the bright side. What it really showed was your strength. Your achievements were too many to name, but your legacy is love and a smile that will never be forgotten. Jessie was preceded in death by her father, Billy J. Herring. She is survived by her mother, Margaret A. Guyton Herring; sisters, Ann Gunter, Cathy Kaiser, Lynn Falin; brothers, Burton McCloughan and Larry Herring and eight nieces and nephews. Jessie was a member of the RightConnection Church. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 1, 2021, at 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington. Services will follow in the Southland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, 700 W. Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC, 29170 at 2 p.m.
