Jessica Dawn Stoeckel Shuler

Jessica Shuler took her last breath on April 16th, 2021, in Charlotte, NC, too young at the age of 26. She is survived by her wife; Courtney Shuler, daughter; Savannah Shuler, both parents; Brian and Dawn Stoeckel, brother; Joseph Stoeckel, and sister; Sara Stoeckel, and many other family members that will greatly miss her earthly presence. A host of family and friends gathered on the evening of Saturday May 1st, 2021, for a candlelight memorial celebration of Jessica's life outside of J.B. Talent Funeral Service in Charlotte, NC. Followed on Sunday May 2nd by a private family service in the Talent chapel. Jessica was an avid artist and singer and highly intelligent and full of color she displayed a love for people that needed shelter from life's storms. A healing spirit that always would go the distance to help another human in despair. Growing up in East Charlotte she had a host of friends that made her life rich and full. Before graduating East Mecklenburg High School, it was normal to have a front yard full of bikes and scooters from all her friends. A free-spirited young woman who had big dreams and the talent to make them come true. Her essence was residual, and her spark shined brighter than most. Sometimes those who shine the brightest are extinguished sooner. I speak for many when I say it was an honor and a privilege to know and love her. To admire her uniqueness. We find solace in her love for LOVE. Our love for her is eternal, may she rest. ~ With love, forever Jessica's Daddy Jess was a very happy, intelligent, inquisitive child that had big dreams to find a cure for cancer when she grew up! She graduated from East Mecklenburg High School in 2013, where she was active in IB, French, Culinary and Rugby. Jessica loved academic learning, however, her creativity and passion for the arts was a strong influence in her life. Jessi enjoyed writing poetry, singing, drawing, and cake decorating among other things. She was also an aspiring self-taught tattoo artist that had dreams of becoming a professional and the talent to do so. She was always there to help a friend, whether it was with algebra or a shoulder to cry on. Jessica was caring and compassionate, she LOVED out LOUD and gave the best bear hugs! Jessi loved to make people smile and laugh! She wanted everyone to be happy! Especially her daughter Savannah! Jessica was always ready to be silly and have fun to make her baby laugh. Family was always so very important to Jessica Dawn, and we are forever grateful that she always knew our love for her was never-ending and unconditional.
