Jessica Lynn Waterhouse

Jessica Lynn Waterhouse (Velten), 51, of Melbourne, Florida, passed away on September 14, 2023. She was born on March 16, 1972, in Ronkonkoma, New York, to August and Tessa Velten. Jessica was a beloved wife to Michael J. Waterhouse and a devoted mother to her three sons, Blake Waterhouse, Owen Blake, and Casey Blake. Jessica was a beautiful, smart, kind, caring, compassionate, and talented individual. She had a passion for music and was a Co-President of Heavy Rotation Records, the official record label of Berklee College of Music. Following college, she worked as an Assistant to Ted Kurland of Ted Kurland Associates, a prominent jazz booking agency in Boston. Jessica also excelled in her career as an Account Executive and Marketing Director for Lucantha Marine and later as a Vice President of Velten Waterhouse Advisors. Outside of work, Jessica had a love for singing and playing the piano. She enjoyed spending time with her children and cherished moments with her new puppy, Riley. Jessica found joy in visiting the zoo, taking walks on the beach, antiquing, fishing, and traveling, particularly enjoying trips to Canada, and camping with friends. A celebration of Jessica's life will be held on October 28, 2023, from 4-7 PM at The Wine Cellar at Amici's, located at 7720N Wickham Road, STE 116, Melbourne, FL 32940. The celebration will be an opportunity for family and friends to come together and honor Jessica and share stories of her remarkable life. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Viera High School's Theater Program, a cause close to Jessica's heart. Jessica's memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family, including her sons, Blake, Owen, and Casey, and her husband, Michael J. Waterhouse. She is also survived by her father, August Velten, her mother, Tessa Velten, her brother, James Velten, her sister-in-law, Janine Merriman, and her niece, Anna Velten. She was also cherished by her father-in-law Michael S. Waterhouse. Jessica Lynn Waterhouse will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her kindness, talent, and compassion will be remembered forever.
