Mrs. Ross, 96, of Charlotte, NC died Thursday, October 24, 2013 at East Town Manor. Jessie was born August 17, 1917 in Quincy, FL, a daughter of the late William and Dorothy Smith Tomlinson. Mrs. Ross was a member of Ebenezer ARP Church and was retired from Marsh Mortgage Company. In addition to her parents, Jessie was preceded in death by her husband, John. Jessie is survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends, whom she considered family. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, October 26, 2013, in Forest Lawn West Cemetery. Memorials may be made to her church Ebenezer ARP Church, 6210 Old Pineville Rd, Charlotte, NC 28217.
