Jesus L. Melchor

Jesus “Chute” Melchor, 60, passed away on Friday October 11th, 2013. He was born April 22, 1953 in Michoacan, Mexico to Fernando Melchor and Inocencia Linares. He resided in Caldwell, Idaho. Despite his sixteen year struggle with paralysis, Jesus remained a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. In the last year his health progressively deteriorated to the point of needing constant medical supervision, away from home. Jesus is survived by his wife of twenty-seven years; Narcisa Santoyo and his eight children; Joey, Alexander, Jessica, Leonel, Jesus Jr., Veronica and Nancy Melchor. He had eighteen grandchildren whom he loved dearly. Jesus’ heartfelt desire was to return to his family. He is now at rest with his family that precedes him in death; his parents; his sister, Victoria and a son, Eric Luis. Much gratitude is extended to the St. Alphonsus Medical Center and to Trinity Mission Therapy and Rehab Center, of Nampa, Idaho for their exceptional care of Jesus. Jesus’ viewing will be Today, Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM with Rosary recited at 7:00 PM at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of the Valley, Catholic Church, Caldwell, ID. Burial will follow at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell.
