Jewel McDaniel

Jewel McDaniel, 64, of Lexington, South Carolina, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on April 26, 2016. She was born in Columbia, South Carolina to the late Ernest and Daisy Harvell. Jewel loved the outdoors, planting and working in the yard. She enjoyed cooking and canning Dillie Beans and fig preserves. She loved her grandson and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She spent a lot of her time in the Mountains with her twin sister Judy. Jewel is survived by her loving daughter, Brandy Knott of York, her twin sister Judy Kelly of West Columbia, her brothers Jerry and Jim Harvell. She also leaves behind her beautiful grandson Steven Knott and her niece, Deni Kelly of Lexington and great-nephew Brayden Tyler and her newest great-niece Kinley. The family will receive friends at Woodridge Funeral Home on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 3:00 PM-5:00 PM. Funeral services will be private.
