Our dear, sweet, and precious Jill....You were a shining star to all on this earth, and I'm sure the same is true in Heaven where you are secure in the arms of Jesus! You were a special delight to me and to our Jill also! I know your dear parents will forever keep those special "Jill places" in their hearts and will one day be able to again enjoy all the sweet memories. Love to you and your family from our family always...The Galloways

I knew Jill not through face to face contact. Both of us are part of a group committed to spreading messages of hope and healing to others who struggle with "the business of living". Jill's presence in the group was strong, powerful and bright. As I bear witness to the profound impact she had on the lives of others, I am inspired to work harder to face daily challenges. She was an inspiration on Earth, and continues to be one of great love and compassion in her passing. She will forever be missed, and never forgotten.

I worked with Jill at CMS until I retired. She was such a loving compassionate person. She comforted and prayed with me through my daughter' Lydia's fight with breast cancer and was there for me when she lost that fight. Jill got her angel wings 4 days short of a year after Lydia got hers. They're now in their heavenly mansions.

I cannot imagine the pain your family is feeling at this time, as I am devastated over the loss of Jill. I have been her secreatry for 9-1/2 years and loved every minute of it. Her sense of humor, her smile, her positive nature. We shared our ups and downs and talked about everything. I am missing our continued e-mails and phone calls for work. She genuinely cared about people and loved her family so much, her nieces were her pride and joy and i would get a copy of all the pictures she had so I could see how much they were growing. Took wonderful care of her patients and would help them anyway she could. I will miss her every single day. Prayers to the family at this time, and thru the healing process. Rosie

It is almost four months Jill is gone, still so very, very hard to believe. I miss her so much, and still have patients that write about her and how much they miss her. A truly wonderful, sweet person...still so sad...think of her everyday..I cannot fathom the loss her family must feel still at this time, but know she is always with us.

Life Story

My Memories Posted: February 21, 2014 | Last Revised: February 21, 2014 Jill was my cousin. She was the baby of what I considered the three oldest cousins (Derek, Loree, Jill). It was easy to remember her birthday and age that way. The three cousins who didn't live in KY (Jill and her brother Joel) and Loree (Arnold Gene's daughter) always went to our Nana and Papa (in KY) at the same time each summer. We walked to the corner store to buy ice cream and played with the boy next door. As we grew older, we each went our separate ways but my fondest memory of my childhood was our summers in Hazard. A couple of years ago my husband, daughter, and I went to Floriday and my family got to meet Jill. So easygoing and laid back, she was a joy to all that knew her.

It has been a little over 6 mths since you left us. I still miss you terribly and think of you often. Ciera started Middle School and said one of the girls in her home room reminds her of you because she smiles all the time. I love you so much and await the day that I can hug you again.
