Jim Fishback
April 20th, 1946 - June 13th, 2021
Jim Fishback, 75, husband of Savannah Fishback, passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021. He was born in Oldham County on April 20, 1946 to the late Rufus and Bernice Milburn Fishback. He was an iron worker for Whalen Construction Co and he worked for Spectrum Contracting Services out of Nicholasville, KY. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, David Fishback, OH, Shelley Albright, Lexington, and Paula Detherage, Lexington; his sister, Wanda Kafoglis, TX; his grandchildren, Caleb and Brooke Fishback, Nicholas, Will, and Jack Albright, Gene Detherage and Taylor Detherage; and his great grandchildren, Caleb Klotz and Auggie Detherage. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandchild, Drew Fishback. Celebration of Jim’s life will be held at 6:00pm on Friday, June 18, 2021 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Bro Jerry Tomlinson and David Fishback will be officiating. Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 4:00pm until 6:00pm on Friday, June 18, 2021 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of the Bluegrass.
