HALBERT, Jim, 44, of Denver, CO passed away Thursday, September 4, 2008. He was born in Jacksonville, FL and grew up in Lutz. He graduated from Chamberlain High School. He then attended and graduated from the University of South Florida where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He moved to Seattle, WA; Scottsdale, AZ and Denver, CO where he worked in corporate banking. He is survived by his mother, Lucy Vessa and stepfather, John of Lutz; stepmother Helen Halbert of Tampa and sister Margaret Haitmanek of Lutz. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 13th at 2p.m. at Loyless Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the H.
