Jimmie Eugene Brumet, Sr., 80, of Payette, passed away Monday, Sept. 22, 2014 at his home. Graveside services will be held at 11 am, Monday, September 29th at Riverside Cemetery, Payette. Services and arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette. Condolences may be made to Jimmie's family at www.shaffer-jensenchapel.com. Jimmie was born June 15, 1934 to Harold and Clarinda (Webb) Brumet in Emmett, ID. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1952 and was honorably discharged in 1956. Jimmie retired from the City of Payette after 29 years of service. He is survived by his daughters, Dorothy Gourley (Tim) of Oklahoma and Betty Hendon (Barry) of Payette; sisters, Georgeane Yager of Emmett and Norma Foster (Harold) of Idaho Falls, ID; eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Jimmie is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Betty A. Brumet; a son, Jimmie Brumet, Jr.; his parents; and several brothers and sisters. Service Details.
