Jimmy Ralph Bryant passed away in Gilbert on May 9th 2008 following a long illness. He was 65. Mr. Bryant was born on September 22, 1942 in Belton, Texas and moved to Phoenix in 1958. He is survived by his wife Pat Bryant of Gilbert; 3 daughters: Laurie Slepian of Scottsdale, Melanie Bryant of Phoenix, and Stephanie Carroll of Phoenix; brother Billy Bryant; and 6 grandchildren. Jimmy graduated from Sunnyslope High School in 1960. He was a star athlete at Sunnyslope, lettering in 4 sports, with his senior football team going undefeated. He also played collegiate football at the University of Arizona before graduating in 1965. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing softball, and camping, boating and skiing with his family. He spent a 35 year career with Motorola. Jim fought his disease with dignity and grace, and will be missed by all. Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 13, 2008 from 6 to 8 PM at Falconer Funeral Home, 251 W Juniper Ave, Gilbert, AZ, 85233. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday May 14th at 10:00 AM at Falconer Funeral Home, with interment at 12:30 PM at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6290 W. Northern Ave, Glendale, Az 85301. In lieu of flowers donations will be accepted by the Alzheimer"s Disease and Cognitive Disorders Program, Attn Dr. Patricio Reyes, 500 W. Thomas Rd. Suite 710, Phoenix, Az 85013
