Mr. Jimmy Lee Hall, Sr. was born at home on December 17, 1941 in Kilgore, Rusk County Texas and passed away peacefully and surrounded by his youngest son, Jimmy Jr. and Beloved daughter-in-law, Ayannia at home on Friday, September 25, 2020 after a brief battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy A. Henry-Hall, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; his son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy L. Jr. and Ayannia M. Hall of Albuquerque, New Mexico; his daughter, Erica D. Horton of Ft. Worth, Texas; his son, Lamond J. Williams (Gertrude) of Long Beach, California; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; four sisters, Debra A. (John) Bryant, Dorothy F. Clark both of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Juanita D. Hall of Henderson, Texas and Juanetta R.(Robert) Gilliam of Denver, Colorado; three brothers, Otis E. (Barbara) Hall of Kilgore, Texas; Donald W. Hall and Leslie J. Hall both of Henderson, Texas; Sister-in-law, Curley M. Hall of Albuquerque, New Mexico; a longtime friend, Charles (Juanita) Bradford of Henderson, Texas and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, James (Jimmy) Hall and Mamie C. Hollins-Hall; brother, James D. Hall; sister, Lillian J. Hall; sister, Myrtle L. Newman and Beloved niece, LaTonya C. Newman. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Compassus Hospice and Palliative Care, The New Mexico Cancer Center, Optum Dr. Lea Koskin and Optum BSN RN, Julia Roeseburg Nurse Case Manager. A Celebration of Remembrance for Jimmy Lee Hall Sr., 78 of Albuquerque, will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Rio Rancho Church of Christ, 1006 22nd Street SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124 with Minister Raymond Archibeque officiating. Services will also be live streamed at www.youtube.com/ Rio Rancho Church of Christ. Cremation arrangements are by Riverside Funeral Home in Albuquerque. Memorial donations may be made in honor of Jimmy Lee Hall Sr. to Rio Rancho Church of Christ, 1006 22nd Street SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
