Jimmy Lynn Hamlet

April 1st, 1948 - July 12th, 2024

Jimmy L Hamlet of Riverview passed away Friday July 12th at the age of 76. He resided in Riverview for the past 30 years and is preceded in death by his wife Annis Hamlet, his step daughter MaryAnn and 2 step sons Bobby and David as well as 3 grandsons.

Jimmy was a Vietnam war veteran that was awarded a Purple Heart in 1968 for his heroic actions. He was a professional painter in the Tampa Bay Area most of his life and will be remembered and missed dearly by his clients. Jim was also an old soul that loved his family as much as we all loved him. We will miss him so much.

He is survived by one sister, Brenda Latham of Knoxville, his stepdaughters Debra Brooks (husband Bill) of Tampa, Stephanie Schmid of Riverview, Stephen Blagec of Tampa, daughter in law Sally Howard also of Tampa and numerous grand children, great grand children and nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at the National Cemetery in Bushnell Florida on Friday July 26, 2024.
