Jimmy Stacy passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento at the age of 74. He was born in Russellville, AR on January 3, 1939 to Forrest and Dorothy (Brown) Stacy. Jimmy worked as a coal miner for 42 years and made Amador County his home for the past 60 years. He is survived by his daughters, Janna Stacy and Lise Martin both of Sacramento, CA, Karen and Charles Heintschel of Ione, CA; sons, Brett and Debbie Stacy of Ione, CA, Billy Stacy of Stockton, CA; sister, Maxine Cova of Ione, CA; six grandchildren; and one great-grandson. At the family's request there will be no services. Jimmy will be laid to rest at the Ione Cemetery.
