May you find comfort in the fond memories of her and may God give you all the strength to endure this time of sorrow. Remember and rejoice in God's promises in the scriptures to obedient mankind who have fallen asleep in death at Acts 24:15, there will be a resurrection of the righteous. In addition, very soon pain, sickness, and death will be no more as mentioned in Revelation 21:1-5. My sincere condolences to the family.

My Mom! - June 4, 2014 Posted: June 4, 2014 | Last Revised: June 4, 2014 My Mom was the best! She was self-less - always putting her family first . . . she never complained about her aches and pains, always brushing them off as "it's all good"! We all knew better, of course. We all loved her very much, and will miss her beyond all words! We wish her peace, happiness, and lots of good times in Heaven!! Love, Sharon

Black walnut hunting Posted: June 4, 2014 | Last Revised: June 4, 2014 Joan was so much fun to be with, especially the day we all decided to look for black walnuts. After walking a distance and climbing a fence, we found some. I may say, it was a sight to see her climb that fence! She was always there for me. I miss you so much Joan, already. Linda

My Big Sis - My Joanie Bear - June 4, 2014 Posted: June 5, 2014 | Last Revised: June 5, 2014 Joanie Bear always was there for me and such a great listener. She always showed compassion and understanding when I really needed a shoulder to lean on. Although we have lived many miles apart throughout our lives, she was just a heartbeat and phone call away. We had a lot of fun together during our visits like the time we went slough slogging in the Everglades to an orchid hammock or visited Cape Canaveral. When I was a little girl, I would love to play dress-ups with her beautiful clothes, shoes and jewelry until I got caught. She always will be with me in my heart and just a thought away. I know she is with her family and Mitzi in heaven now looking down on me and her family with a smile. I will love you forever Big Sis! I am sending you a X and O to you in heaven. Loi

I remember the last time we saw her. We were visiting Mike and Sharon, Bob and Joan drove over to see us. It was good to see them, it had been a while. I'll miss her. She was a good woman.
