Obituary Joan Grace (Dunahoo) Fronzaglia, of Colorado Springs, was welcomed into her new eternal life on April 30, 2015 at the age of 90 years old. Born on April 8, 1925 in Howe, Oklahoma and lived there briefly before moving to Hartford, Arkansas. When she was 17, she moved to Southern California. She lived there until she met the love of her life, Matthew Evo Fronzaglia. They were married in Mena Ark on November 4th, 1955 and in 1969 they moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado where they eventually retired. Joan readily adapted to life in the military and became a loving wife, mother, grandmother and an outstanding homemaker. She was very creative and excelled at baking, cooking, crafts and wrote many outstanding poems that were written especially for the recipient. Each major holiday she wrote poems that were publishd in church programs for the special event. She was also published in the Hartford Heritage Newspaper in Hartford, Arkansas. She is survived by her husband Matthew Fronzaglia of Colorado Springs, 3 children, Cliff May of San Pedro, Califonia, Janet Massa and her husband David of Summerville, South Carolina, Carol Davis and her husband Steve of Dewey, Oklahoma, and her brother, Reverend Bill Dunahoo of Fort Smith, Arkansas. She is also survived by one grandson, David May and his wife Melanie of Rogers, Arkansas, three great grandchildren Erin, Evan, and Eden also of Rogers, Arkansas and Theresa McDonald Wesson, of Colorado Springs, a friend who became another daughter to her. In addition to her family, she leaves behind many friends and relatives who will miss her sense of humor, her quick wit and her laughter. To all who knew her, she leaves a legacy of strength, love and the ability to share that love with others. The service will be on May 6, 2015 at 1:00 in the afternoon in the Chapel of the Cappadona Funeral Home, 1020 East Fillmore Street in Colorado Springs. Viewing will begin 15 minutes prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Select Specialty Hospital of Colorado Springs and Penrose Hospital Nurses Appreciation.
